No. Candid runs city-specific events in places like Chicago, New York City, and Dallas-Fort Worth, regional events for areas like the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and West, and nationwide events open to all US Catholics. If your area doesn't have a scheduled event, the nationwide events are a good option.

Can other people see who I picked?

Q: How do you verify people are actually Catholic?

Every profile is reviewed by the Candid team before it is approved. Attendees must be practicing Catholics to participate. This manual review process is how Candid keeps the community intentional.

Q: What happens during a Candid event?

You will have 4-5 seven-minute one-on-one video conversations back to back. After each date, you privately indicate whether you would like to match. When two people both say yes, Candid opens a chat between them. The event typically runs from around 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM local time.
