What a Typical Month on Candid Looks Like
Week 1: New events are posted at the start (and middle) of the month. You browse your Events tab, pick one that fits your schedule, maybe a local event in your city or a nationwide session, and register using your first credit. You can check out our Upcoming Events page for more info.
Event Night: You join the live video event from your phone or computer. Over the course of the evening you have a series of short, structured video dates - real face-to-face conversations, not text exchanges. At the end of the end, submit feedback on your dates - this lets us know who you want to be matched with.
After the Event: Your match results arrive. If two people expressed mutual interest, it's a match. You can then connect through Candid Connections - message, view full profiles, and take things further at your own pace.
Week 3: More events are published at the middle of the month. You use your second credit for another event maybe a different city, a different age group, or another nationwide session to widen your options.
End of Month: Two events attended. Real conversations had. Credits refresh and you start again.
